HANDA Rehabilitation and Welfare Association (HANDA) was established in Guangdong, P. R. China in 1996, registered in Guangdong Civil Affair Bureau and was supervised under Guangdong Health Bureau as a secular, non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicates to working together with communities for the people affected by HD.HANDA is composed of members affected by HD, with a view of long term development, interactive participation and sustainability. It is a branch of the International Association for Integration, Dignity and Economic Advancement (IDEA) registered in 1994.

Mission: Ensure a quality life that results from the mobilization of social resources and the implementation of social, psychological , physical and economic rehabilitative activities for people affected by HD. We are aiming to eliminate the discrimination and stigma against people affected by HD and working together to creat a harmonious society.

Vision: A world without stigma, but equality!
